Tinsolve
TinSolve is a patented advanced technology from Precision Process for use in tin plating and tin/lead methane sulfonic acid systems that employ insoluble anodes or where anode current efficiency is less than 100%. Installation of the compact TinSolve system is quick and maintenance is simple. This field proven system has shown fast payback - as low as six months in some cases.
How it works
With insoluble anodes in an MSA system, all of the tin plated out comes from the tin methane sulfonic acid. Using TinSolve, the tin plated out is replaced with tin metal from a hydraulically connected cell, at about 15% of the cost of tin methane sulfonic acid. Bailouts are eliminated, and additive costs are dramatically reduced. Bath control is simplified and waste treatment costs are reduced. Our standard unit is rated at 125 amps maximum - custom units are available upon request.
